Project summary
Marcon was appointed to deliver a new 1,200m² Community Diagnostic Centre at the Princess of Wales Hospital in Ely, significantly increasing local diagnostic capacity. The centre houses CT, MRI, X-ray, ultrasound, echocardiography and phlebotomy services.
Our approach
Noise and vibration were controlled, intrusive works were planned and scheduled carefully, and the team coordinated with the hospital estates and clinical teams throughout to limit disruption.

- Mechanical and electrical systems, including AHUs, ventilation, heating, quench pipework and domestic water services
- New electrical substation, transformer and switch room
