Active Prospects - Great Meadows

Marcon Construction was appointed to design and construct six high-quality one-bedroom flats in Redhill, Surrey, as part of the Transforming Care initiative.

This project aimed to provide supported living accommodations for individuals with complex needs, promoting independence within a safe and modern environment.

Scope of Works

The comprehensive project included:

• Demolition of existing structures, including licensed asbestos removal and ground decontamination
• Site preparation involving clearance of ground obstructions, eradication of invasive plant species, site levelling, and ground remediation
• Construction of six one-bedroom flats tailored for supported living
• Development of associated infrastructure: car parking, drainage systems, hard and soft landscaping, retaining walls, refuse and cycle stores, external services, and external lighting

Outcome

Delivered in close collaboration with Active Prospects, the scheme has created a safe, purpose-built environment tailored to residents’ needs. The project supports the national Transforming Care agenda by enabling more people to live independently within their communities.
